In the Eastern Cape, Forest Fruits took over from Boletus Mushrooms cc that had been operating in the area since 1999, and all harvesting rights for all the Singisi Forest Products (Pty) Ltd plantations have been granted to Forest Fruits.

Forest Fruits operates from its own facilities located at Singisi and Langeni in the Eastern Cape.
